We’re back… Some of you may not have even known we were gone, but we are back from two weeks of vacation. Week one we spent on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera and had an amazing time. (If you ever need a tour guide in Puerto Vallarta let me know because we had a great one!)

Week two we did a few house projects and then spent a few days with Disney. All in all, it was a great trip - we are rested and ready for all that God has in store for the next few months.

This time of year I get very excited. The summer is drawing to a close and people are finishing up their vacations. In a few weeks the weather will start to cool down and the kids will start back to school. People will settle back in to some welcome routine. But one of my favorite things is that we'll come back together as a community. God has great things in store for this fall.

On September 30 we get to worship together as one family in one room all at the same time! I can’t wait! In October we kick off our fifth service! In November I get to have turkey and dressing! In December we celebrate the season of Christmas with five Sundays dedicated to the challenge to "Imagine Christmas!" These next few months will be times of growth and challenge. I am so thankful that we get to do this and that we get to do it together!

Of all the wonderful things we got to do and see on vacation there was one thing that was missing… being with you! I hope to see you this weekend for a great celebration!
