What are you passionate about? What is God asking you to do? Sometimes we get so overwhelmed with the thought of God using us. I can't do it. What if God asks too much of me? I don't even know where to start...and on and on. We want to change the world, but it becomes too big and too overwhelming.
I came across a special little girl today. Her name is Alex Scott. In 2000, when Alex was 4, she was diagnosed with cancer. Even at the age of four she knew she was dying. One day she went out to her backyard and started picking some lemons. She mixed them with water and sugar, and made a lemonade stand out in front of her house. Her goal was simple...she was going to raise money to give to her doctor so kids wouldn't have cancer anymore. She was 4. Local news caught on and a charity was started. When Alex passed away in 2004, she had raised over $1 million for cancer research selling lemonade.
God's will is overwhelming sometimes. We want to pursue our passions and serve God with all our hearts, but sometimes it feels like it's too much to handle. So start by picking a lemon. It's ok to start small, but START NOW!
GO PICK A LEMON!
