Byron,
I think I felt the earth stop moving on Sunday afternoon when I received the call that you were in the hospital and that it did not look good. How can this be? We just came from an awesome trip at Willow fired up for what God would have in store for us in ministry this year, how could this be happening? The only words I could say to God on the long ride to the hospital was "God fix it, I don't want to do this unless I am doing this with my friend." I was remembering the trip back from Chicago on the plane with your headphones on watching you listen to music and bopping your head around to the beat of the music; it made me smile because I could almost see the wheels turning in your head preparing music for services and planning out the next few weeks of worship.

I am praising God for this miracle. Life will never be the same now. Forevermore I will look at you and be thankful that you are still on this planet with us. Those crazy hiccups you had in your recording would have made me CRAZY to listen to a week ago but now...they are music to my ears. I love you my dear friend, Sharie

Byron, my brother,

Know that we are rejoicing with you and our entire west-coast family at Montrose Church because of what God has done.

James 5:16 says "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.".
May we continue to pray without ceasing for each other and through faith always trust that God hears and that God cares.

Dear Byron,
I am not sure if you will remember me but I am blessed to be the mother of Sharie Robbins. I wanted you to know that we have some mighty prayer warriors at St. Lukes of the Mountains where I worship. Since the moment Sharie told me my heart, mind and prayers have been with you and your family. I rallied the prayer warriors and we have been praying for you as we also waited for news of a miracle. I can't wait to get the word back to them as we all praise God for his graciousness. There are many of your brothers and sisters, whom you may not know, who were interceding for you. Even my mother in S. Carolina (Sharie's grandmother) was waiting for news as she was praying too. Praise God for his faithfulness and thank you for your wonderful gifts and for sharing them with us. I have always been blessed when I attended Montrose Church and you were leading worship. Be Well and be blessed.

WOW! and Praise God!!!!! We didn't get the email until last night and haven't stopped praying since. I was outside all day, doing my gardening "work shares" at a local garden and then weed whacking for a neighbor and several times during the day, I would feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit and just stop what I was doing and pray. What a joy to feel the peace and presence of our God! Miracles are EVERYWHERE! We, way up here in Wyoming, are rejoicing with you in Montrose. Keep doing what the doctors tell you to do and we'll keep praying. Again, we praise the Lord for your miraculous, speedy recovery! Our continued love and prayers,

Being so far away makes us feel kinda helpless in situations like this, but God has the power to connect us in prayer in such a way that miles know no bounds. He used you to call His people to pray and help us to understand, once more, what love really is. Oh well :) The important thing is that you are recovering well and that we have all had the blessing of seeing God's amazing grace and faithfulness at work again. I have often wondered why we seem suprised when God says "yes" to our prayers. I think I've decided that it isn't so much that we're suprised that he answers, as much as it is always a suprise that he cares so much for us that he CHOOSES to do good for us when we are so often not deserving of His goodness. How could we NOT praise a God like that? He is sooo good to us!! Continue resting and healing. I know your church family must miss you terribly (we do!) but they also want you all better (and so do we!).
