Kids Director,
Montrose Campus

Montrose Church is seeking a passionate and creative Children’s Ministry Director to lead ministry efforts for children from birth through 6th grade. This full-time role focuses on creating a vibrant, Christ-centered environment where kids experience the love of Jesus in engaging, age-appropriate ways. We’re looking for a visionary leader who excels at team-building, family engagement, and innovative discipleship.

Key Responsibilities

Weekly Programming

  • Lead engaging Sunday morning and Wednesday night programs.
  • Ensure teaching is biblically sound, fun, and safe.
  • Equip and support volunteers weekly.

Vision & Leadership

  • Align children’s ministry vision with Montrose Church’s mission.
  • Develop discipleship strategies for children and families.
  • Innovate and evaluate ministry effectiveness consistently.

Volunteer Development

  • Recruit, train, and empower a volunteer team.
  • Build strong community and provide ongoing encouragement.
  • Create sustainable volunteer systems and a culture of appreciation.

Special Events

  • Oversee Vacation Bible School (VBS), Arts Camp, Christmas Musical, and major ministry events.
  • Collaborate across departments for outreach and church-wide events.

Family Engagement

  • Foster relationships with parents, equipping them to lead at home.
  • Communicate regularly about curriculum, events, and opportunities.
